Karen Reid, Chief Executive

Karen Reid is the Chief Executive of PSD Scotland. She has a strong track record in public service leadership, workforce development, and organisational strategy. Karen leads the executive team in implementing the Board’s priorities and ensuring PSD Scotland delivers its programmes effectively.

Her experience spans senior leadership roles across education, local government, and health and social care, bringing insight into workforce planning, governance, and quality improvement.

Keith Redpath, Chair

Keith Redpath is the Chair of PSD Scotland. He brings extensive experience in leadership and governance across public service.

As Chair, Keith ensures the Board functions effectively, providing oversight, constructive challenge, and support to the executive team. He works closely with the Chief Executive and senior leaders to shape PSD Scotland’s strategic direction and engagement with stakeholders.
