Social Care Hub launches on Turas Learn
Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) has launched the Social Care Hub on Turas Learn, a new dedicated space bringing together learning and development resources for Scotland’s social care workforce.
Developed through the Public Services Delivery Scotland (formerly NHS Education for Scotland) Turas Repurposing Programme and in partnership with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), the Care Inspectorate and Scottish Government, the Social Care Hub is a direct response to feedback from the sector on the need for a clearly signposted learning place within Turas Learn for social care staff and employers.
The Social Care Hub provides a single, easy-to-navigate destination for social care learning, with free, curated resources aligned to sector standards and continuous professional learning requirements. It aims to improve access to high-quality learning and support workforce development and quality of care across Scotland.
Following a successful soft launch in April, the hub is now fully live and being promoted through a coordinated communications campaign across partners.
Key benefits include:
- a dedicated social care space within Turas Learn
- easier access to relevant learning and standards-based content
- free online resources for all social care staff across Scotland
