What's available
Available through the Turas Learn Equality and Diversity Zone, the learning includes:
• digital learning modules
• facilitated training sessions
• podcasts
• webinars
• resources to support equality, diversity and human rights practice
Supporting inclusive workplaces and services
The learning opportunities have been developed to support colleagues across health and social care to build confidence, knowledge and skills in equality, diversity and human rights. They are designed to help organisations meet their responsibilities and create inclusive environments for staff and service users.
Working in partnership
PSD Scotland's Equality, Diversity and Human Rights team works collaboratively with local equality, diversity and inclusion teams, learning and development colleagues, and other partners across health and social care to support shared learning and workforce development goals.
Tailored learning and support
Recognising the pressures currently facing health and social care services, the team offers bespoke training delivery, enabling organisations to request tailored sessions that meet local needs and priorities.
The team can also work with local equality, diversity and inclusion teams and learning and development teams to co-design and co-deliver training, ensuring learning reflects local priorities and challenges.
Supporting improvement across Scotland
Through its EDI Trainers Network, the team works with partners across Scotland to identify emerging learning needs, share good practice and support a coordinated approach to equality, diversity and human rights education and training.
This support is particularly valuable as health and social care organisations continue to focus on creating safe, inclusive workplaces where everyone feels respected, valued and supported.
